As Asset Manager, Mike will be responsible for overseeing the strategic direction of all owned real estate. As such he will assist with due diligence for acquisitions and/or property takeovers, review property operations from a financial and operational perspective, and work with property management, facility management, construction department, and the leasing team to develop new business opportunities, process improvement, and other operational strategies for the company.
Prior to joining Friedman, Mike served as Vice President of Real Estate at The Velmeir Companies where he specialized in managing real estate development activities and account relationships for major clients throughout a multi-state region. With more than twenty years of experience in commercial real estate, Kennedy brings a wealth of expertise to his new position at Friedman. Mike received his BA in Accounting from Michigan State University and his MBA from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business.
