Engineering firm Danlaw Inc. in Farmington Hills buys out MicroMax Inc. in Canton

Farmington Hills-based automotive electronics engineering firm Danlaw Inc. announced today it acquired Canton-based software engineering firm MicroMax Inc.

The terms of the deal were not disclosed.

MicroMax’s 40 employees in Canton will be consolidated into Danlaw’s Farmington Hills headquarters, said Dan McClung, vice president of operations for Danlaw.

Following the acquisition, Danlaw will employ 140 at its headquarters. Danlaw generated $20 million in revenue in the U.S. last year.

The firm’s customers include all three North American automakers.

Danlaw also operates a Chinese joint venture and is the parent of a publicly-held operation in India.
