Roush Industries opens Troy engineering center for electric, autonomous vehicles

Automotive supplier Roush Industries Inc. has opened an engineering center in Troy that will bring about 150 jobs to Oakland County, mostly in engineering and data science.

The 44,000-square-foot facility, which officially started operations April 1, focuses on hybrid and electric vehicle engineering, autonomous vehicle testing support and software and data analytics, said Gary Rogers, vice president of advanced engineering for Livonia-based Roush.
