Beaumont breaks ground on $160 million expansion of Farmington Hills hospital

Beaumont Hospital, Farmington Hills unveiled more details of its $160 million expansion project at its groundbreaking Tuesday.

The expansion of the former Botsford Hospital, which was originally set to begin in late summer 2015, will add more than 210,000 square feet to the 495,475-square-foot hospital and includes a five-story, private room patient tower and expansion of the hospital’s emergency department and critical care unit.
