Michael D. Koenigbauer began working with Friedman in 2013. He was formerly an Associate Partner of CORE Partners, LLC. He joined CORE shortly after its inception in 2006. Mike was recruited out of CB Richard Ellis in Naples, Florida where he handled the sales and leasing for the Fort Myers and Naples Office Division. Prior to working for CB Richard Ellis he was a Real Estate Development Project Manager and Financial Analyst for Gates McVey Capital Group. At Gates Mike was responsible for every aspect of the development project from underwriting, to the acquisition of land all the way through leasing stabilization. On average the work load consisted of six projects with a total development value in excess of 100 million dollars.
Mike has mainly focused on the Office and Industrial markets in Southeast Michigan. During his first two years at CORE Mike secured over 500,000 square feet of listed product.
Mike’s background as a Financial Analyst and Project Manager has equipped him with the complete complement of tools to assist in any Real Estate transaction. From developing proformas and analyzing cash on cash returns to internal rate of returns, Mike can provide a very educated evaluation of any transaction.
Mike has secured relationships with companies such as Stuart Frankel Development, The Surnow Company, EA&S Investments, Kirco, Turner Development, REDICO, and Titan Group to name a few.
A Michigan native and 1995 graduate of The University of Michigan, Mike resides in St. Clair Shores with his family and friends.
